Minister of Water, Irrigation and Energy, Engineer Sileshi Bekele said the construction of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam( GERD ) is progressing as planned.
Dr. Sileshi Bekele, accompanied by members of the Ethiopian Electric Board, oversee status of the project. He said the construction of the dam is progressing on schedule and the process is well underway.
The Minister and members of the Board held discussions with contractors, experts and consultants who are carrying out the construction work. (source :ENA)
