The House of People’s Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has re-elected Abiy Ahmed Ali (PhD.) as the Prime Minister of Ethiopia.
According to Article 107, Sub-Article 3 of the House Rules and Procedures Code of Conduct No. 6/2008, the House directly approves the appointment of the Prime Minister.
The Prime Minister has sworn in by the President of the Supreme Court, Meaza Ashenafi.
House of Federation Appoints Agegnehu Teshager Speaker
The House of Federation has appointed Agenehu Teshager as the Speaker of the House. Agegnehu has served in various governmental positions, including Head of State Amhara Regional, it was noted. He has also worn to serve the public sincerely.
The House of People’s Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has re-appointed Tagesse Chafo as the Speaker of the House.
The house appointed Tagesse Chafo with 419 votes in favor and six abstain, it was noted. Similarly, the house appointed Lomi Beddo as Deputy Speaker. The Speakers have sworn to serve their people sincerely and faithfully.
