Ethiopia and Kenya reached an understanding on the urgency and sensitivity of the security threats along their common border.
Senior Ethiopian delegations led by State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, Ambassador Birtukan Ayano, convened a meeting with Kenyan counterpart in Nairobi on 8 March 2023 in Nairobi and deliberated on a range of security issues.
Ethiopian Ambassador in Kenya General Bacha Debele on his twitter page noted that an outcome document is signed to jointly combat the threat along the border areas.
