Ethiopian Industrial Park Development Corporation (IPDC) CEO, Aklilu Tadesse stated that Ethiopia’s recent accession to BRICS will play a key role in increasing previous bilateral relationship with Brazil through investment.
The CEO speaking at The Ethio-Brazil Trade and Investment Forum organized by the Brazilian Embassy and IPDC called on Brazilian investors to invest in industrial parks and the Free Trade Zone of Dire Dawa.
In his message, the CEO underscored that the corporation is working to attract investors by implementing operational reforms and providing efficient and effective services with a special focus on foreign direct investment.
He called on Brazilian manufacturing companies and investors to engage in investment, especially in the manufacturing and agro-processing sectors, in industrial parks and Dire Dawa Free Trade Zone, according to IPDC.
The Ethio-Brazilian Trade and Investment Forum was held today in Addis Ababa with various events. It is also expected that the Brazilian high officials and delegates who are taking part in the forum expected to visit the Bole Lemi Industrial Park.
