ክትባቱን የጤና ሚኒስትር ዶ/ር ሊያ ታደሰ፣ የውጪ ጉዳይ ሚኒስቴር ሚኒስትር ዴኤታ አምባሳደር ብርቱካን አያኖ፣ በኢትዮጵያ የቻይና አምባሳደር ከሆኑት ዣዎ ዢውሃንና ሌሎች ከፍተኛ የስራ ኃላፊዎች በተገኙበት ርክክብ ተደርጓል።
ከዚህ ቀደም ከኮቫክስ ጥምረት 2.2 ሚሊየን ዶዝ ክትባት ወደ ሀገር መግባቱና ለጤና ባለሙያዎች መሰጠቱ የሚታወስ ነው።
አሁን ከቻይና መንግስት የተገኘው የክትባት ድጋፍም ወረርሽኙን ለመከላከል የሚደረገውን ጥረትና እንደ ሀገር 20 ሚሊየን ሰዎችን በክትባት ለመድረስ የተያዘውን እቅድ ለማሳካት የሚያግዝ መሆኑን ዶ/ር ሊያ ታደሰ ተናግረዋል።
ሁለቱ ሀገራት ከመጀመሪያው ጀምሮ ወረርሽኙን የመከላከል ስራውን በጋራ ሲሰሩ መቆየታቸውን የገለፁት በኢትዮጵያ የቻይና አምባሳደር ዣዎ ዢውሃን አሁንም ወረርሽኙ እያደረሰ ያለውን ጫና ለመቋቋም በትብብር መስራታቸውን ይቀጥላሉ ብለዋል።
The Government of China donates 300,000 doses of Sinopharm COVID 19 vaccine to Ethiopia
The vaccine was received by Health Minister Dr. Lia Tadesse, MOFA State Minister, Ambassador Birtukan Ayano together with Chinese Ambassador to Ethiopia, H.E Zhao Zhiyuan, and other senior officials.
Earlier, 2.2 million doses of Astrazeneca vaccine were received from COVAX Facility, and roll out started.
Minister of Health, Dr. Lia Tedesse said the current vaccine support from the Chinese government will help in the fight against the epidemic and boost the efforts towards the goal of reaching at least 20 percent of our population and expressed sincere appreciation to the Chinese Government.
The Chinese Ambassador to Ethiopia, H.E Zhao Zhiyuan on his part said that the two countries have been working together to prevent the epidemic from the beginning, adding that the two countries will continue their solidarity to fight the pandemic.
